Retainer agreement and fees
A retainer agreement is not formed until the law firm's acceptance has been received. Fees are charged based on an agreed hourly rate or in accordance with the German Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG). Flat fees are also available.

Out-of-court dispute mediation
Disputes between lawyers and their clients can be mediated out of court, on request, before the regional bar association (pursuant to BRAO § 73 (2) (3) in conjunction with § 73 (5)) or before the bar mediator (BRAO § 191f) of the German Federal Bar Association, who can be reached through the German Federal Bar Association website (www.brak.de) or by sending an e-mail to schlichtungsstelle@brak.de
